Franciszek Ksawery Bohusz (1746–1820) was a philosopher, theologist, Jesuit, political activist, participant of the Kościuszko Uprising, member Warsaw Society Friends Science, honorary Vilnius University, translator and publisher Napoleon Code, who also author thesis On Origins Lithuanian Nation Language (1808). The written in an effort to save from forgetting traditions people whose language, as noted, gradually “diminished” “faded” at beginning nineteenth century, being crowded out by Polish which used various areas everyday life.
